Introducing Brentwood

Easy on the eyes, Brentwood is one of the least gridded areas of the LA map. Cul-de-sacs lined with shady trees meander off Sunset Boulevard, hiding real estate with views so breathtaking they’ll make you green with envy.

This well-manicured suburb of the stars was built for morning people. Rise with the sun and you’ll see a parade of yoga pants and hiking boots winding their way up Brentwood’s million-dollar hills. Wake just before noon and you’ll catch their owners recharging with mint-infused lemonades, artfully plated paninis and locally sourced salads of endless varieties.

In the late afternoon, fresh from Brazilian blow-outs and collagen injections, they can be found nibbling on artisan truffles and shopping at their whim, obscured from the flash bulbs of paparazzi by aviator glasses two sizes too big. Keep your eyes open wide and you may just spot some celebrities, if you don’t mind the occasional wet nose at your ankle - this neighbourhood’s crawling with friendly pups.

While Brentwood doesn’t offer much variety in the way of nightlife, you’re never more than ten or so minutes from the ocean, the mountains or the 405 freeway, so you won’t be held back from an evening on the town, no matter what your style.
