Introducing Beverly Hills

Nestled almost entirely within the city of Los Angeles – excepting neighbouring West Hollywood due east – Beverly Hills is one of the most well-known areas in the United States. It’s hard to believe that 90210 began as a lima bean farm, as today it effortlessly exceeds its iconic status, bursting at the seams with all the first-class panache and glamour one would come to expect. Don’t get drawn in by the tawdry tales of histrionic housewives… this secluded burg falls nothing short of the genuine article.

Its status is secure as one of the world’s premier upscale shopping meccas, and why not? Guests flutter amid and among countless boutiques along Rodeo Drive, hosting outposts for the cutting-edge couture of Burberry, Chanel, Fendi, Gucci, Armani, Prada, Louis Vuitton… and the list goes on.

Mixed in with chic shop-hoppers strut the agents and managers for most of Hollywood’s top-drawer talent, often seen lunching along Beverly Drive or at the top-floor café at Barney’s, where the bagels are flown in from – you guessed it – New York City.

And no voyage to BH would be complete without sampling succulent dishes at any of culinary darling Wolfgang Puck’s local entries, including perennial haute-cuisine house and fusion-era forerunner Spago, or charcuterie extraordinaire CUT, located on the ground floor of the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.
