Vauxhall is the sort of place that Londoners in the know come to let their hair down. Dubbed ‘Voho’, Vauxhall has grown into a hub of London’s LGBT scene to rival Soho, with the gay village centred around the Royal Vauxhall Tavern. A little further south, you’ll find a little enclave of Portuguese culture, with a cluster of family-run restaurants lining South Lambeth Road.
